American Larch

American larch is a deciduous conifer (loses its needles in winter) that grows 40-80’ with an open pyramidal crown. This tree has small cones, and its slender elegant needles grow in clusters along the branches and turn golden yellow in the fall.  American larch prefers wet soils with full sun.
