American Hazelnut

Hazelnut is an 8-15 feet small tree/shrub that grows as a single or multi-stemmed plant that produces edible nuts. This species grows in dense clumps, forming new stems through root suckering, making it excellent as wildlife shelter. It is also well adapted to a variety of soil conditions.
